GROUP LESSONS
Our group lessons offer a chance to learn the basics of a different dance style each month. Whether an experienced dancer or a newcomer, you will learn enough over the four Saturdays to feel confident dancing that style,
These group classes will cover dance styles from American-style Ballroom, International Ballroom, Club Dances (West Coast Swing, The Hustle), and more.
Make sure to stick around after the lesson to practice your moves from 9 to 11 pm at our Saturday Night Dance Social.
These full hour group lessons are only $20 per person and are taught by Dominic Boyer, Paul Taylor and Bonnie McMahon.

SATURDAY NIGHT DANCE SOCIAL
Our Saturday night dance social provides a friendly and supportive atmosphere to practice your moves on a mirrored, full-size ballroom.
No partner? No problem. Dancers of all levels and styles have fun sharing their knowledge and joy of dancing to an eclectic mix of classic and modern Swing, Latin and Ballroom music. Come join the fun.
There is no bar so feel free to bring your own bottle of water or non-alcoholic beverage.

With over 38 years of ballroom dancing and 25 years of teaching experience, Dominic works with his students to address individual needs and concerns. Focusing on social dance aspects like feeling the music, connecting with oneself and your partner; and learning how to "lead" and "follow", enabling you to dance with anyone regardless of the level.
Dominic teaches all major ballroom dance styles (cha cha, rumba, swing, samba, mambo, foxtrot, tango, waltz, Viennese waltz) along with cabaret/ club dances (salsa, bachata, lindy hop, swing hustle, blues dancing, fusion dancing, Argentine tango.
Bonnie began her Amateur Competitive career under her mother’s (1945 Australian Champion) tutelage in the mid-60’s and won many North American Pro-Am championships in both International and Exhibition style events. A member of the highly successful West Coast Impressions Latin Formation Team, she turned professional in the mid 90’s and enjoyed much success teaching numerous classes, private lessons and wedding couples “First Dance” at the Let’s Dance Studio and as the Dance Director at the former Vancouver Ballroom Dance Studio. She has a wealth of experience in all the Latin and Standard Ballroom dances in both International and American styles, teaching people graceful Waltzes, lovely Foxtrots, romantic Rhumbas, cheeky Cha Chas, fleet footed Quicksteps and many other dances, including fun Line Dances. She specializes in technique and choreography to improve her students’ social dancing enjoyment. Her motto is “Walk in, Dance Out”.
Born in Winnipeg and raised in Southern California, from the age of 18 Paul quickly rose through the ballroom dance ranks to become an awarded top teacher within Arthur Murray, Fred Astaire and independent dance studios. Over the course of his career he has prepared over a thousand couples for the first dance in their wedding and enjoys doing choreography to a wide range of music. He has competed at all levels, from new comers to professional. Paul has travelled to Buenos Aires to learn authentic traditional Argentine Tango which is now one of his favourite dances. A high energy teacher, Paul loves to share his enthusiasm for dance with all his students. His expertise and diverse background, which includes movies and television, make Paul’s classes a favourite for both group and private lessons.

ABOUT LET'S DANCE STUDIO
Let’s Dance Studio was founded in Vancouver by Kathy Bradley in 1979 and has been operating out of its current location on Granville Street since 1990.
Over these 46 years Let's Dance Studio has produced many national and international champions, and taught hundreds of people how to look and feel great on the dance floor.
Sadly, at 81, Kathy Bradley passed away in August 2025. The teachers and students of Let's Dance Studio intend to continue Kathy's legacy bringing ballroom dancing to the masses, making everyone's lives that much richer through dance.
